PROGESTERONE

Progesterone supports menstruation and helps maintain the early stages of a pregnancy. The main function of progesterone is to prepare the lining of your uterus (endometrium) for a fertilized egg to implant and grow. If a pregnancy doesn’t occur, the endometrium sheds during your menstrual period. If the woman is pregnant, progesterone increases to support the pregnancy.
